This activity book is meant to be fun and flexible. There’s no “right” way to go through it!
What matters most is the connection and joy you build while exploring it together. Some days your child may be fully engaged, and other days they may just want to flip through. That’s perfectly okay. Follow their rhythm. Your presence is what makes the difference.
Reminder 1
It’s okay if your child doesn’t complete every page or doesn’t follow along exactly as written. Some may want to repeat the same page, skip a few, or just look at the pictures — and all of that is learning too.
Your role? Be a gentle guide. Encourage curiosity, but give them room to explore, pause, and express themselves in their own unique way. Growth looks different for every child, especially those with ASD, and that’s something to be celebrated.
Reminder 2
You don’t have to go in order. Let your child’s interests lead the way. If one activity catches their eye, start there! If they want to come back to something later, that’s great too.
Let this book feel more like a treasure map than a checklist. Each activity is a chance to spark joy, imagination, and connection, wherever and whenever you land on it.
